1. About us
This website is operated by Batik Lifestyle, based in Singapore. You can reach us at contact@batiklifestyle.com.
2. Our products
Our pieces are made by hand in small batches. Pattern placement, colour and small details vary from piece to piece and may differ slightly from the photographs; these variations are part of handmade work and are not defects. We describe materials and dimensions as accurately as we can, and colours may look different depending on your screen.
3. Prices
All prices are shown in Singapore dollars (SGD). Shipping charges, where they apply, are shown at checkout before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders we have already confirmed.
4. Orders and payment
- When you place an order, you make an offer to buy the items in your cart. We accept your order when we send our order confirmation email.
- Payment is taken in full at checkout through Stripe. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, which may include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayNow.
- We may decline or cancel an order — for example, if an item is unavailable, if we suspect fraud, or if a product was listed at an obviously incorrect price. If we cancel an order after you have paid, we will refund you in full.
5. Discounts and promotions
Discount codes and promotions are subject to the conditions stated with them, cannot be exchanged for cash and may be withdrawn at any time. Unless stated otherwise, only one code can be used per order.
6. Delivery
We ship from Singapore to addresses worldwide. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Import duties and taxes on international orders are your responsibility. Full details are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
7. Returns, exchanges and refunds
You may return unused items in their original condition and packaging within 14 days of delivery, and we will put right any item that arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect. See our Exchanges & Returns policy for how it works. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under applicable consumer protection law.
8. Using this website
You agree not to misuse this website, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access to it, interfering with its operation or using it for any unlawful purpose.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including photographs, text, graphics and designs — belongs to Batik Lifestyle or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or our products, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction over any dispute.
